Okay so I have always taken on things for my kids. It's something I love doing. Well today Lindsey had her first cheer leading practice. During the practice I noticed one coach for 13 girls. That is where my crazy heart steps in. I offered to be the assistant coach for the squad. I have never been a cheerleader nor on the pep squad but how hard can it be... I have seen Bring it on about 60 times or so.
So after getting home and realizing what I had done and that, I was crazy I called my friend Cyndi and my cousin Danielle. Over the phone they were able to give me simple cheers to teach the girls. There first game is in 2 weeks and they only have 2 practices before then. I think we need to make it 6 practices. I want our squad to look like they have a clue to what they are doing. Lord knows I will be wearing my poker face and playing the part.
