The streets are horrible "Pot-hole City!" Then we have the lanes. There are 3 lanes then 2 then 1/4 mile up the road there are 3 lanes again. Make up your mind! I have learned that you cannot go through a yellow or red traffic light. There are cameras watching. My house is nice It's not done. Not by far. I usually am completely finished in 3 days but am having a hard time on this move. I think that it's final to me when I'm done with the boxes I'm officially a Great Lakes, IL resident. I really loved living in Florida. I think I'll like it here after I can get through my first winter I have a lot of really nice neighbors who are scaring me with horror stories about the winters here. Last year they had 81 inches of snow. How is that possible??? The grass is green and there are actual squirrels. Miley (the family dog or Princess!) loves chasing the squirrels. I got fed up with chasing her so I bought her a 20 food line. Tomorrow she can have some outside time alone. She can chase as many squirrels as she wants.
The great part about being here is being close to one of my best friends, Daisy. She and I have know each other for 14 years. She made Hubby and I God Parents to her daughter. I haven't seen my God Daughter in about 10 years. I saw her Saturday and almost fell over she is all grown up and so pretty. They grow up too fast. We are going to Six Flags this weekend so that should be a lot of fun. I'll post pictures. One more week till Hubby joins us. Yeah!!
