Here we go again folks! We left Florida June 5th. In that time Little Kid has been WONDERFUL!! She has been sleeping in her own bed, good attitude etc. Well today that all went into the toilet. I took the girls to the mall and what a bad experience. After big spankings to both girls and many chores. We went to bed as usual. Well to be honest Little Kid has had a great pattern since the new house. She has been sleeping in her own room and only coming in my room when the sun came up. (Which is okay) Tonight broke that good streak! She woke up at 12:45 and is still upstairs pitching a fit and screaming. After 2 1/2 hours of walking back and fourth from my room to hers and being the calm Mother as well as Mommy Dearest she is still pitching a fit. Poor older kid is wide awake as I'm sure the neighbors are. Base housing has thin walls. I know I should be rubbing her back or something at this point but I think a Mother has to know when to walk out of the room and not completely beat there child!
Had to vent!

When you figure out how to make her sleep, PLEASE, PLEASE let me know. My 10 yr old refuses to go to sleep at night -- always a problem...from hearing something to being cold to being thirty - you name it.....EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! I'm so ready to pull my hair out (& hers too)....The calm, cool husband that I have was on the verge of loosing it the other night w/ her. Do you think that did any good? Heck NO! Tonight, she has been forewarned -- I swear the belt is going to rear it's ugly head if she gets out the of the bed one time or calls my name. Besides, I think I'm changing my name........How many times in ONE day can a child say "MOMMY"? I love them both but sometimes I just need them to do as I ask the FIRST time...Sorry - this is your blog & your turn to vent.....YOur sister isn't here so you get me! Haha
