It was a busy couple of days. We have been busy visiting with my MIL and touring different places here in Chicago. Yesterday we went to see Mama Mia. (It was my 2nd time that's how much I loved it! What's not to love Pierce Bronson! HELLO!! it used to be Alec Baldwin who could sweep me away now it's the former Remington Steele!) Okay back to what I was saying. After the movie we went to Rainforrest Cafe. I think my MIL was shocked when she saw the restaurant. It was loud, stormy and had animals coming to life every 10 minutes. Then we headed back to the house for a game of how many books can Grandma read to me. This was from little kid. She loves when Grandma reads to her.
Today we went to hubby's job, the exchange and lunch at Chilli's then I had teacher orientation tonight from 3-7. It was my first official act of being a teacher at St. James. I got to meet the other teachers and some of the parents.
Tomorrow we are heading out the mall and book store. I am sure that Grandma will end up buying a book or two for the girls. That's what Grandma's do and my MIL is a teacher and loves buying books.

Hey Lady!
Glad to see that you guys are settling in and getting out on the town before you get snowed in! Thought about you and yours today as I looked over the flattened landscape that used to be your street. We miss you guys! :)
I was coerced into seeing Mamma Mia (the play), which ended up being great... as for the movie version, sounds fun, though it's awkward to think of ol' Pierce trying to sing, yeeesh
Penny... Did you see any of our missing stuff in the rubble?
