The day finally came! School is back in session! The girls were really good getting up for school today. Older kid woke me up at 3:12AM and asked if it was time to get up yet. I sent her back to bed and said come see me in 3 hours. I don't know if she went back to sleep or not because at 6:05AM she was asking if it was time to get dressed? The girls seemed to do okay with the new classes and teachers. Hopefully they will enjoy this catholic school. Older kid did 2 years in catholic school when we lived in Florida and really liked it. I like the fact that I can secretly spy on them to make sure they are behaving. I was looking out my classroom window today watching little kid on the playground. I think reality will set in with our new routine next week when the homework begins.Were going out for our usual 1st day of school dinner tonight with some friends. Were going to a place called Red Robbin. I have never been there before so it should be fun.

Hello school -- goodbye Summer! The girls look so cute in their little uniforms. I love RR - I wish we had one close to us. I use to like Marietta Diner too UNTIL I got a nice metal chunk in my potato salad -- Manager just said "oh sorry - things happen, can I get you some more salad or possibly a slice of pie or cake"...Of course I was all over the sweet treat.....When we got home, the dang treat was NO good...yuck! Oh well, didn't need it anyway. Hope you are enjoying your job and the girls just love school. Have a good weekend!
