I have mentioned before that my youngest is tough in the sleep area. Lately more tough then ever. Hubby returned Monday. Up until Monday (the 2 weeks prior to moving into the new house) youngest was doing okay with sleeping she slept all night about 11 nights out of 13. Not too bad. I thought we were over this and she had realized she was in a new house and had to be a big girl. Well all that work and the 11 nights of stickers on a chart not to mention rewards etc went out the window.
Monday night she woke at 3:00 and fell back to sleep at 6:10
Tuesday night she woke at 3:30 and fell back to sleep around 5:00
Wednesday night she woke at 12:30 and went back to sleep at 4:15
Thursday night (right now) she woke at 12:45 and is currently doing the evening fight of saying she cannot sleep. What does this do.... get Mommy & Daddy pissed, resort to spankings and not to mention make her be punnished all day.
Yesterday I took older child to the 6 Flags water park. Youngest stayed home with Daddy and had no TV just was bored the whole 5 hours I was gone. Then last night I let her go outside and jump with the neighborhood kids. I figure some trampiline time would wear her out. NOPE!! She went to sleep at 9:00 and woke up a few hours later.
She is currently calling me from the stairs. The sad part is I just got finished sitting on her bed quietly and when I thought she was out I snuck down stairs to check e-mail. Yes I'm tired but at 2:33 in the morning what is a girl to do? Im wide awake as usual.
