Yesterday was a sad day for the girls and I. We left Florida. As I was leaving the Naval station I had tears in my eyes thinking of missing the beach and warm weather. I made it to my sisters house last night after almost 7 hours of driving time. My ankel is doing a LOT better thankfully! It was a painful car ride but to pull in her driveway and see my newest nephew made it all worth it. I now have 4 nephews. 1 from my SIL and 3 from my sister. The sad part is with having 2 daughters I don't have a clue what kind of gifts to buy for boys so they end up with money or gift cards.
Were off to the pool now for a day of fun in the sun. The girls were up very early pestering me to go swimming. I had to remind them that it was before 7AM and summer so go back to sleep!
To all my Florida friends, I love you all and will miss you. I am sorry I'm not big on good byes so it was easiest just to leave. I'm sorry about that but in the Navy world everyone ends up together again in the end.
