Happy Father's Day to 2 Great Dads!!

My husband is as I mentioned Active Duty Navy so he is away a lot!! When he is home he more then makes up for being gone! He is a fantastic father. In the past 9 years that he has been a father he has missed about 4 years in the girls lives if you count deployments, under ways with his ship and schools that the Navy has sent him to. It's not easy for him. We are apart again right now and as I type this blogg I know he will wake up sad tomorrow that he is not with his daughters for Father's Day. (Don't worry honey we will be together soon enough.) We are getting ready to be together as a family for the next 3 years with hopefully minimal time apart and I know hubby can't wait! If he's lucky we will have a giant snow storm and he will be trapped indoors with the 3 of us and our female dog too. Ha ha! I love you honey Happy Father's Day!!


The second Dad I would like to wish a Happy Father's day to is my Dad!! No one in the world compares to my father! When father's were made they made, him and broke the mold. He is a GREAT father and Grandfather! It is true about all litle girls worshiping there Dads and it's the God's honest truth that my sister and I do! There is nothing he wouldn't do for us. My Dad is that crazy father who if he hears a "Polka" playing out in public no matter where it is... Disney World, Busch Gardens or the local grocery store he will grab you and make you dance right there! Many childhood memories are based around my father weather it was playing baseball in the back yard, playing in the pool or just sitting next to him and having him take your hand to hold it. That's Dad!
